Salad day

I went out for a dinner with folks from work last night, to Charlie Brown’s, a chain steakhouse place. I have no flex points left, so I decided to just go with the salad bar for my meal, and only one glass of wine. Yes, even though the company was paying for it! I doubt the company would have exercised it off for me!

This morning, my bathroom scale had me back under 160 for the first time since we got back from the cruise! Of course one night of salad eating didn’t make me lose weight, but it sure saved me from retaining water and scarfing unneeded calories!

I have to weigh in on Saturday since I haven’t weighed in yet for July. I want my first lifetime monthly weigh-in to be a success! Hopefully I should at least be within the 160-162 range.

I’m also going to ask my leader Diane about coming on staff. I want to be able to give people the kind of support I got when I needed it. I think I might just start out as a receptionist, but maybe consider becoming a leader later. What do you guys think, do I have what it takes?

Salad day

Work dragged today :( . I snacked on a Choc Banana Flax muffin for morning tea and then had this fab salad at Schmears with Adam.

Schmears is great because you just choose your ingredients and they make it up fresh for you! I chose spinach, tomato, cucumber, avocado, semi dried tomatoes, olives and beetroot. It was great but too much of the olives and semi dried tomatoes so Adam ate those. Had an apple when I got back to the office and a Freedom bar for afternoon tea.

I am famished now that I’m home but will get on to dinner because I have to eat a while before yoga starts at 7.45pm or else I just feel too bloated. Contemplating heading to the gym on the way to do 30 mins on the Elliptical…. We’ll see!
