The location of the is such that from here you have a splendid view on the the Corn Wharf, the Grass Wharf and the Saint Michael’s Bridge that crosses the river Leie. From the patio at the back of the house, there where the rivers Leie and Lieve meet, you get an unforgettable view on the Old Fish market and the Meat or Great Butchers Hall. The neogothic house – it dates from the 18th century – and the original beautiful setting sets the place apart in the field, right in the oldest historical centre of Ghent, close to the old medieval Port.
