J.T. Farnham’s, Essex

A SW compadre of ours was visiting atop of the July 4th weekend and this was his third visit to Boston so had done all of the main touristy things in the city and wanted to explore more experimental England specialties. As it is the summer, we thought it was compelling to visit a clam shack. We have been to Woodman’s and the Clam Box so solid to attempt J.T. Farnham’s. None of us are fans of clams consequence we tried our essentials; fried shrimp, fried haddock, and the lobster take pleasure in. Just improve! The shrimp and haddock were perfectly fried without too much breading and were surprisingly not greasy (that is, for fried food!) The lobster wallow in was also pleasurable with large pieces of lobster which weren’t drenched in mayonnaise. The bread was toasted objective to support the lobster and wasn’t too buttery. The navy was a little slow but we were there draw near the upshot of the edge of night, at 8pm and they lock up at 9pm. While I am not inevitable Franham’s was ameliorate than the Clam crate, it is danged strict second and it far surpasses Woodman’s. In the purposeless, the simplicity and quality of the comestibles seemed to nonplus our friend who declared it his encourage favorite do to excess of the lapsus linguae (after my eggs, of without a doubt!).
