HeTian XinJiang | Buddhist Center and The Home for Silk

Hetian (Hotan), known as Tian in archaic China, is located on the southern periphery of the Tarim Basin in southwestern Xinjiang. It is everyone of the oldest Buddhist centers in the western section and harshly during silk. It is famous notwithstanding silk, trollop and carpets. Hetian used to be the stick where the states of Pishan, Yutian, Yumi, Qule, Jingjue and Shulu were established; in 1883, was established as a prefecture to be supervised as soon as by the court. In the year 1920, it was changed to a prefecture.
