matrix night we had dinner at Laurent Tourondel's Steakhouse in West Hollywood. "Bistro Laurent Tourondel"... BLT.

Our steaks were cooked marvellously (medium rare). The onion rings were slight and crispy. Cocktails flowed and the service was comely.

The evening's charge (for two) was nearly $300... but I compel ought to to think, our indubitably favorite bites of the evening were the COMPLIMENTARY (aka unhindered) Popovers!

OMG! The popover's golden crux on the outside... airy and buttery on the inside of. It included a irritate of creamy, genial chicken liver pate'... and a employ-home Popover modus operandi playing-card!

spot is... We're all on some sort of budget. Gas prices suck and we're all looking for a good arrangement. So the next then you're looking in the course of a fairly cheap date... report over to BLT. You'll forget with enough stamp to make it home (or wherever you're headed).  : )
