#4- That’s the check, not my number.

Don’t hit on your waitress (or waiter), don’t hit on the hostess, don’t hit on the owner’s daughter. It’s an assholic thing to do. As a customer, you are in a position of power and I don’t care if you think she/he is your soul-mate, it’s coercion. You wouldn’t try to ask out someone who reported to you at work, so why someone who relies on your patronage for their livelihood?

I have two customer who always, always try and a few that have tried once. I really want to tell them to piss off but of course I can’t be that direct.
